Precision Returns to Quality Magazine’s Leadership 100 Rankings

At Precision Automation^®, one of the terms often heard (or rather- seen, scrolling along our shop’s digital message board) is “Quality Reigns Supreme on this Team.” While that is a nice little rhyme, the phrase truly describes how our shop runs: each employee brings a strong sense of pride and accountability for their work. This ensures that each task, no matter how small, is completed with the utmost quality and care for their work.

We are happy to announce that Precision Automation^® Company, Inc. was honored in the February 2021 issue of Quality Magazine as #16 in their ranking of Leadership 100 companies! Our company has been slowly climbing the ladder of rankings on this list, having first broken through at #90 back in 2006. Then in 2014, we made strides into the top quarter of companies recognized and achieved #24 on the list of Top 100.

This past year+ saw COVID-19 taking a significant toll on the health, employment, safety measures, and supply chain operations (among plenty of other factors) for countless Americans. Our business was fortunate enough to power through the adversity and continue to design & build automation machinery solutions for various companies, some of whom have been developing virus test kits.

Even before the pandemic, our organization has been dedicated to safe and consistent processes. As of this publishing, there has been 1,922 straight days without a lost time incident; this is a huge accomplishment, and we intend to keep that number soaring.

Through the hard work by our team of skilled employees, the drive to continuously improve our processes, and the suppliers/customers/contacts who help make us who we are: thank you! We are proud to be ISO 9001 certified, and appreciate the efforts of every machinist, toolmaker, mechanic, welder, electrician, engineer, salesperson, admin and leader. In the spirit of continual improvement, we look forward to making the Leadership Top Five in the future!
