Best Wishes to Michael Menaquale in Retirement
This past month our organization held a luncheon to wish happy trails to Michael Menaquale, a key piece of our management staff, as he enters retirement. Mike served dutifully as Quality Manager, Human Resources Representative, and the head of New Jersey Wire Stitching. His absence will be felt all across the company after nearly 50 years with Precision Automation.
Mike began his employment in 1970 as a part-time employee, assisting in the Precision weld shop. He began full-time employment in 1975, continuing to work in the welding department, as well as Assembly, and on various CNC and manual machines. Mike also spend time out on the road taking part in multiple system installations. In the 1980’s his responsibilities moved into Purchasing and he became the company’s main buyer for many years.
With the 1990’s arose a need for Precision Automation to become ISO certified and we required someone to lead our Quality Management initiative. Mike stepped up to the plate, and we received the ISO 9001 certification. Since then Precision has maintained that certification in good standing as Mike led the team through multiple internal and external audits.
In 2000 Precision acquired the NJ Wire Stitching company and once again, Mike was asked to lead the integration of this new sector of our corporation. Finally in 2016 Mike became the Human Resources Director, welcoming many new members of the Precision team into our family.
Mike has always answered the call and executed whatever job that he was asked to do. He was a consistent presence in the management of our company and always sought to help improve the organization. As he moves on into his “next career” of retirement, we would like to thank him for his years of service to Precision Automation and wish him nothing but the the very best!
