Precision Automation® Donates to Cherry Hill Food Pantry

Our company recognizes that right now, more than ever, we are grateful for our health and continued operation through this current global pandemic. In times of need, it is important to remember those in our community that struggle with day-to-day essentials. We are proud of our employee contributions over the past month+ to the Cherry Hill Food Pantry, just prior to Easter weekend.

For the past few years, Precision Automation® has taken part in a food drive challenge to help local families in need. What began as a one-time corporate initiative has become an annual food & goods drive. Our employees enthusiastically support others with packaged food, non-perishables, toiletries, and more.

In previous years, our organization had participated in an annual competition in March called “Corporations Feeding America”. That particular organized contest for tracking company totals from the 1st of the month until the 31st was no longer active; but we had seen such a positive outpouring from employees who wanted to assist, that we decided to keep it up.

“It’s been a really great opportunity for our company to help the local community, especially in this unique time” says Jeff Salabritas, Plant Manager & Director of Manufacturing for Precision. “If many items were more readily available, then I believe we would have donated even more. But we’re happy to see everybody making an effort and doing the best they could to help.”

As has been the case in previous years, the employees of Precision brought in all different kinds of food & goods to donate to the Cherry Hill Food Pantry. Upon totaling up all the items, a final count of 284 lbs. of goods were brought to the Food Pantry on April 7th to be distributed to those in need.

The need to help feed the hungry and assist those in our local township motivated the Precision Automation® family to step up and donate; we are fortunate to have so many individuals on our team willing to help provide these vital resources. Thank you for all of the contributions, and we look forward to the next organized initiative for our team to assist our community!
