It’s Trade Show Season! Modex 2018 and Pack Expo East 2018 Showcase New Innovations
It’s been a busy month here at Precision Automation® with preparation for, execution of, and follow-up for two consecutive trade shows: Modex in Atlanta, GA; and Pack Expo East in Philadelphia, PA.
Our team represented well at the Modex show from April 8-11th, displaying two different labeling systems integrated with multiple conveyor systems. The Arca print & apply LinerPlus labeling machine was shown to depict our package and carton labeling capabilities, set up to apply custom Multiplex labels provided by our colleagues at Chicago Tag & Label. This system was integrated with a Hilmot Motorized Drive Roller (MDR) conveyor feeding into a FMH Conveyor gravity skate wheel flexible conveyor. Alternatively, on the other end of the booth, we exhibited an Arca print & apply pallet labeling system incorporated with another section of Hilmot MDR conveyor.
Immediately following the Modex show, our team returned home and began setting up for Philadelphia’s Pack Expo East, a show that we’ve exhibited at since its inception (they will now be exhibiting every other year, next up in 2020.) Precision Automation® was one of 400 exhibitors displaying our innovative equipment for over 6,000 attendees. We displayed some additional labeling machines, including our wrap labeling system that is ideal for bottles, cans, tubs, and other cylindrical products.
Our main booth display featured the integration of a Universal Robots collaborative robot, Keyence vision system, and an Arca fiber laser marker, which presented prospective customers a plastic bag-tag with their initials.
