PMMI “On the Rise” Award Winner

We are happy to announce that one of our team members, Steve Huvane, has been presented the 2018 On the Rise Award by the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies (PMMI, formerly Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute). Steve was recognized at the association’s annual meeting in Tampa along with nine other recipients from member companies across the industry.

Having been a part of Precision Automation® for nearly three and a half years, Steve has occupied multiple roles across the company, and embraces the opportunity to “wear multiple hats” and contribute to the team any way that he can. In addition to leading the Marketing efforts through the company’s re-branding and new website development earlier this year, he also accepted the role of Quality Manager in time for the company’s ISO 9001:2015 certification. Additionally he takes on various responsibilities that include: spare parts order processing, sales support with AutoCAD designs, trade show logistics planning, travel logistics for service technicians, and more.

When asked for a quote, Steve said “I am honored to be a recipient for this prestigious award, and appreciative of my sponsors Mark Johnson (VP of Sales & Marketing) and Dan Rexon (Sales Manager) for nominating me. I am excited about the company’s direction moving forward, and can’t say enough about all the individuals who have consistently helped to grow my knowledge of our company and this industry.” He also discussed his eagerness to help welcome new talented individuals on board who share the same enthusiasm for multifaceted contribution to Precision Automation®.
